A new month means a new Microsoft Intune service release. The Microsoft Intune June 2026 (2606) service release became available earlier this week (29 June) and delivers several enhancements for Android Enterprise device management. These updates help IT administrators refine policies, simplify enrollment processes, and strengthen device security. With additional settings in the Android Enterprise settings catalogue and new app management capabilities, organisations can manage Android devices with even greater control and flexibility.
In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at the most significant Android Enterprise-focused improvements included in the Microsoft Intune June 2026 (2606) service release and explore how they can enhance your Microsoft Intune environment.
Before you explore the new additions in Microsoft Intune for your Android Enterprise Devices, verify that your tenant is on the new 2606 service release.
Go to Microsoft Intune admin center | Tenant Administration | Tenant Status and in the Tenant details tab, check if Service release is on 2606.

Device Configuration
New Android Enterprise Settings Catalog settings
With Service Release 2606, Settings Catalog will contain new settings for Android Enterprise Devices. Let’s go through them. All these new settings are applicable for Android Enterprise corporate-owned fully managed, Android Enterprise corporate-owned dedicated devices, and Android Enterprise corporate-owned devices with a work profile (at work profile level).

Android Enterprise personally owned devices with a work profile use Android Management API (AMAPI)
Web-based enrollment for Android Enterprise personally owned devices with Work Profile is now Generally Available (GA). From Q4 2026, Microsoft will automatically move to this type of enrollment. Read more about it in one of my latest blogs.
Support for Trustd Mobile as a mobile threat defense partner
Trustd Mobile can now serve as a mobile threat defense partner for enrolled Android devices running Android 9.0 or later. You can download the app here. Read more on how to use Trustd Mobile in Microsoft Intune here.
App Management
Microsoft Intune app requires version 2025.11.01 or later
The Microsoft Intune app for Android now requires a minimum version of 2025.11.01. This requirement has been in place since May 1, 2026, and users running older versions of the app may encounter sign-in issues.
For most users, this update is applied automatically through app updates, meaning no action is required. However, users who are still on an unsupported version should update the Microsoft Intune app to the latest available release to restore normal sign-in functionality and ensure continued access.
To check which devices are affected, go to the Microsoft Intune admin center | Apps | Monitor | and choose the Discovered apps report.
If you filter on com.microsoft.intune and find the Microsoft Intune app to identify devices running older versions.
